In these days of the internet, it is easy to get a glimpse of someone before you meet them in real life. This was the case with Emily. I have been following her and her work for quite some time on Instagram but it wasn't until a mutual friend had a party that we finally met in person. She was as genuine and sweet as her online persona led me to believe, and I was thrilled when she asked about the possibility of documenting her and Matt's upcoming wedding!
Emily & Matt stressed that they are not "wedding people" from our first meeting but they wanted to do something special to celebrate their marriage. This was music to my ears. With an intimate guestlist of their family and a handful of close friends, they said their vows at Colborne Lodge in High Park, where they spent a lot of their early days in Toronto together. They had their reception in style by taking over one of their favourite restaurants in the city for the evening and had a cozy, intimate celebration over a sensational meal. The dinner at Local Kitchen was one to be remembered!

Thanks so much again for documenting our special day, Celine! We're definitely not wedding people, but it was a good excuse to have all our favourite people gathered together. And we couldn't be happier with the photos – they're beautiful!!
